Hey, you want to go.....

What do you do for snacks when you get a last minute invite for some outdoor recreation?  

Swing by the grocery store for some chips,  candy and pop?  That used to be the story at my house.  Maybe even throw in some granola bars to be "healthy".

When you change your eating style the last thing you want to do is sabotage it when you head out for fun. 

When your fridge is already stocked with the good stuff and you are used to eating that way it's easy to grab and go!

Today we headed out on "The Lucky Day"


And this is what I packed. 
In my little cooler I have strawberries, cut up oranges, pea pods, carrots and red peppers to dip in humus, raw almonds, protein chunks and a couple frozen water bottles to keep it cold. 

Honestly, as self conscious as most of us are in a swim suit, it seems kind of ironic that most of the crap we eat while wearing it makes us feel even worse wearing one. 

A cooler like this is super easy to pack, even if you have none of it in your fridge. Other than the homemade protein bars, all if it can be bought ready to eat just like chips and candy. But it leaves me feeling so much better!
