Wow! It's incredibly powerful what a good, hard workout can do for your state of mind!

When I'm in Boston, I work out at the YMCA, which is only a 5 minute walk from my crashpad. It's surrounded by a great park complete with paved runnning trails that also connect to a trail system to other greenspace. So it's really a great set up for a runner!

Todays workout started with a one mile warmup run around the park then into the Y for a great strength workout. Todays focus is legs and butt, with just a little upper body and core.

2 sets today  20 reps
Pick your weight so it is doable, but the last 2-3 are really hard.

Romanian deadlifts
Overhead squats
Seated leg curl
Seated leg extension
Leg press
Tricep extension on the cable machine
Bicep curl
Push ups
1 minute plank

Followed that with another one mile run around the park and a few minutes of stretching.

For a while, I've felt so overloaded with training for and figuring out this new job, I've neglected my strength and just been running. I'm so happy to be back focused on weights!
